GOG is, as far as I'm concerned a portal developed primarily for gamers.

With things like:
non regional pricing (no more *sad face)
DRM removal
No longer publisher provided games and so on.

I would like to suggest that GOG/CDPR start removing game launchers particularly when we are using GOG.

I don't think there is a person alive that would say they like having one launcher opening another launcher to start a game. Think the Larian launcher for BG 3 or Divinity or even CDPRs own which is odd considering GOG ownership.

That is all, Ill get off my box.

Thanks

...Question: If I'm not launching via Galaxy, can't I just invoke the executable/binary/ELF with none of this launcher nonsense?
Indeed, if there are other launchers/clients present besides Galaxy (which you shouldn't even have installed in the first place) - just ignore them and start/run your games (installed from the backup offline installers in your library) the old-fashioned way, by executing the respective main executables (accordingly identified by the file name extension .exe) located in the game's install directory.
