I think I will buy a packet of biscuits in his honour to go with my tea.
Sad news. May his soul rest in peace.
Strange, I woke up this morning and had this in my mind... kinda fitting now that I read this... as he flies away to a new place, wherever that is.

RIP TB...
Sad to hear. He always struck me as an honest reviewer who took a keen interest in consumer rights. I hope he has come to a better place and that his family find the strength to pull through. I believe he would have had a lot more to give the world, had the cancer not gotten him.

Vila i frid, John Bain.

Yeah. Same.

Shadowstalker16: Thought he was taking it easy when he retired a few weeks ago and expected he'll have a few more months left. Didn't know it was that serious.

Bambusek: His liver was failing as well :( It can take you down quickly.
Thanks to the cancer treatments, if I understand correctly.

Also, I waited too long to buy his damn shirts.

Rest in peace, John Bain of House Biscuit.

This is a sad news. So early..
I've never been a big fan of the guy's attitude, but his opinions were interesting and his podcast was entertaining.
RIP

liquidsnakehpks: rip a real shocker especially after reading that he was recovering earlier....

paladin181: Yeah. In the last month or so he said things took a bad turn and he'd focus on family time and just the podcasts for his online presence. It must have been a SERIOUSLY bad turn.
There was a post on his behalf on reddit about a month ago that basically said it was about pain management and home hospice care. I got the feeling at the time that it wouldn't be long. His wife tweeted a few days ago to say she was waking up constantly just to check he was still breathing.

An awful time for anyone to go through.
Rest in Peace

Loved the content he created.
Will miss his presence on Youtube.
:(

Death is Hard.
a sad day for gaming
Oh, man, this is so sad. :( And he was basically my age.

Rest in peace!
horribly sad. i quite enjoyed his "wtf is" videos.

when he first announced his diagnosis in a video i recall him saying something like "i'm not ready to leave my wife and son behind, im... just not ready..."

my wife looked up from her book and said "what's wrong with you" and i said "nothing, bit my tongue, hate it when that happens."
Been semi-regularly watching his videos since 2010. Goddamn, that's such a huge shame.
Made front page of CNN earlier today:

Never liked his videos but R.I.P . ( he was younger than me )
Thank you for everything you have done for us gamers and may you rest in peace.
