Is it me or is the website very slow? Anytime I look at a game's page, and particularly the pictures, it takes forever to load. I have a high speed connection and a very decent PC, so I don't think is that.

No, but i've seen others express similar things over the years. You can thank a bunch of sloppy unoptimized code for that.
(They don't even properly work to support other browsers beyond chrome/chrome likes. "Just try chrome!" is their usual 'solution')

Nope, just fine here on Firefox. I'd check your local routing to see if you're going though congested routing.
