NuffCatnip: So many have joined for the beer, I haven't seen any yet... :(
Now that I think about it, might be because of my cat avatar.

hedwards: It's amazing that the place didn't implode during that time.

F4LL0UT: True. I'm still amazed by how civil the community was even without any genuine moderation during the early days (although some will surely insist that I don't know the actual "early days", having joined only in 2011). I like to think that it says a lot about that particular type and generation of gamers that GOG originally catered almost exclusively to.

What's funny, I actually remember you as being one of the guys I just couldn't get along with back then (when you still had the Postal Dude as your avatar). In retrospect our shit flinging from back then seems almost endearing to me.
I was briefly on Fitocracy, before it became a den of trollery, and it was literaly just a few days after I joined that things flipped from being relatively civil, to being some of the worst bullying and harassment I can remember seeing.

They even had this thing where you could attach comments to people, so you'd have people making stuff up and attaching it to other people's account.

And the information being spread wasn't very good either. So much group think, so much bad information.

Not particularly, I've got a ton of work with grad school that I'm avoiding at the moment.
