GOG only has three Dragonlance games in the store (Krynn series). I really wish they would add the missing Dragonlance games as that's my favorite DnD universe. I would buy them in a heartbeat.

There's still Dragons of Flame, Heroes of the Lance, War of the Lance, DragonStrike, and Shadow Sorcerer that are not in the store (AFAIK).

Well, finally picked up Al Qadim, Dungeon Hack and Menzo... Menzobarrawarraghhrrrgghhghle!

Not sure what to play first - the latter certainly has an annoying character creation setup.

As someone who don't know D&D but have huge interest, which game of the franchise would you recommend me first?

My personal advice is to try Baldur's Gate.
I think it's a great way to introduce someone to the D&D rules and Forgotten Realms universe. And if you like the experience you can export your character to Baldur's Gate 2 and continue the adventure.

Agreed. It tries to convey the experience of playing the tabletop RPG game, and is a gentler introduction than other of the games. Also it was the start of a sequel that was revolutionary at the time.

Then, other series might be picked up: For those who enjoy making a whole party from scratch, Icewind Dale. For whose who would read a lot, and even maybe reflect a little, maybe Planescape: Torment.
