Well, the xwing alliance upgrade mod has been around for a while, and has added loads more ships and stuff. So I don’t see it having a takedown. But you never know.

Yeah - my concern was more that the XWA one needs the base game, whereas this mod doesn't check that you own TIE Fighter (but looks like it has the TIE Fighter voices and cutscenes). Hopefully it will be safe, but as you say better safe than sorry.
