Yeah, the exaggeration in your reply really gave it away anyway. And actually, I did want to edit that comment of mine and have it deleted, but for some reason, I really didn't feel like it. Probably due to the fact that I've encountered so many uncivilized (a little too much perhaps) people, mainly on YouTube, who would reply exactly the way that you did in response to logical arguments that other people had made in the comments section. However, my apologies for directing that feeling of contempt towards you.

Just to be clear, the occasions that I'm referring to in which such tactic could sometimes be appropriate, are those times when the people doing it are trying to get away from a predicament such as being the only one having misunderstood someone's comment that they had already made a reply to, and retracting back what they had said by calling it a sarcasm or something like that. And sure, it's not always the case as apologizing is often the easiest way out to take.
(I'm sorry, but I honestly don't quite understand on what you were trying to imply with that first sentence of yours)

Yes, I know my comment wasn't a most successful attempt at sarcasm, mostly because it sounded more sarcastic in my mind (written words don't translate well the tone of what you are saying), but fuck it, I won't be changing my original comment just so I can correct that, I'll try to make the next joke better instead.
