Fans of Witcher 3 liked Ciri and Geralt and will hate seeing them treated this way. People who didn't care for Witcher 3 are not likely to care any more for Witcher 4 either. And unlike Cyberpunk, there is no fixing it because it's not just bugs and poor features, it's the story and the characters.
