i was wondering can someone here be able to design covers for games which arent available here on gog, such games as,

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
hell a cyberpunk thriller
dreamweb
flashback the quest for identity, 1992 version
discworld noir
discworld 2

so if someone has original box art, i perfer original box art it looks better this way, is there a possibility to create dvd covers from them, as im been hunting custom made dvd covers for my original discs online for some time and no seems to make covers for games, a web site known as cover project has done covers for ps and 3do but not for pc, i dont have dvd cover creation software to do them my self and love to get covers for them.

thanks

Cheers mate!
If anyone is still doing covers I would like to suggest all the Sherlock Holmes games here on GOG. Thank you. :)
wow it still rather quite here lately, nothing has been posted here lately, it seems over a month since the last link to covers.

i would still like to know can any here do covers which is'nt available on gog, ive got lots of original games which hasnt been released on gog and no custom covers can be found any where on the internet, if someone can please replie as its been over a month since i ask about this

thanks
Yes, it's rather quiet here lately, but that's alright. Members get motivated whenever works for them and will place these gorgeous images up as time permits. I have to say, though, that perusing the amazing covers in this thread always brings a smile to my face... like seeing a shiny new coat of paint on an old deck. They bring new life to old games... just from the cover! :)

Here is a link to my covers which includes two for the Sherlock Holmes games.

I rarely make covers nowadays as the shear number of releases on GOG demands a lot of time . . just to keep up. I can only speak for myself but making covers for games not on GOG is just adding to an already huge workload if you're making covers so . . having done a few . . I stopped considering making covers except for GOG releases.

It doesn't take long, making covers, to realize how time consuming the process is so I believe most folks are overwhelmed once they start making them which, at some point, is the reason we stop.

Thanks, this is very useful as some of your covers are not available at www.gogcovers.com.

Indeed. I think people often don't realise how much more valuable and tangible games can feel when physically present with a box and disc. Digital distribution is all well and good for keeping a legal purchase channel open but the games often feel disposable (and looking at Steam, the quality of many a download exclusive befits that description). Look at how many games people buy today and never play. They feel worthless.

Even though many games today aren't shipped with manuals, the presence of a well-made Amaray box inlay and a disc inside still helps to enhance the experience.

I may try and pick up the slack with some Stuff-styled boxes at some point, but no promises, as I'm self-employed and a father-to-be, so I have a customer base and a pregnant wife to look after, meaning that my free time is very limited and I'd prefer to spend it actually gaming.

Is there any good tutorial how to make covers? And where can I get the templates, like the gog logo? I would like to give it a try, but I am not sure, if I have what it takes.
