UPDATE:

I think our ATP settings might be a bit harsh on temporary files .. it complained about a file not being signed correctly. We keep testing but I do believe that the issue is on our side .. thanks for the replies all.

Hi

Does anyone else have issues with Microsoft ATP flagging the galaxycommunication.exe as infected with EUS:Win32/CustomEnterpriseBlock ?

Happens with an installer downloaded today

Kind Regards
Steen

No proper link as the forum can't cope with the punctuation.

Summary
This file has been identified to pose a security issue and was blocked by your IT security administrator.

What to do now
Contact your security administrator for more information if you think that an application has been wrongfully blocked.
I don't think whoever owns your computer wants you playing games. I wouldn't recommend trying to hack around it as it may cost whatever position you have

I do understand that my IT security administrator can open up for it but I worry that the installer has been compromised .. I have used Galaxy for a while and just encountered the issue with the recent installer. It could very well be a false positive, but I don't really want to risk it.

It could be my ATP settings ... that's why I wanted to hear if anyone else was having this issue
If the software was compromised, GOG and the Polish government would be under yet more fire.

The description is self-reading; buut for the sake of your lingua franca:

Det betyder grundlæggende, at din interne teknologiforvalter har oprettet en brugerdefineret regel til at markere og markere alt det, som den ikke ønsker, at der skal ske.

Det bedste, du kan gøre, er at spørge pænt.

Eller lad være med at videospille i firmaets tid og på firmaets ejendom.
Yeah that is one of the reasons I don't like antivirus software: they seem to be increasingly blocking not only malware and viruses, but also software that either MS or some other company doesn't necessarily want you to run (like cracks or whatever). They are not only for security, but also to protect alleged IP rights etc.

Tämä on yksi monista monista syistä, miksi en enää koskaan käytä Windowsia.

[This is one of many in a long pile of reasons why I never Windows anymore.]
