Been playing Thief Gold for the first time in the last few days and absolutely loving it. Can't believe i missed this game after all these years. I bought Thief 2 and Deadly Shadows as well, so i'll be playing those after i beat the first.
ATM Genesis alpha one, it's a good game but a alien ship's about to kick my butt so we'll see!
The day the Alien Breed serie landed on gog I istantly wanted to play them, so i bought all the serie and started with the first one. I completed the first level and i never played this genre of games, and i love it! I'll continue with the other two after finishing that one.

And yesterday night I also played a bunch of matches of Unreal Tournament 2004 with one of my friends, and I discovered that I like arena shooters :)
Just finished Gradius II. This game is borderline impossible.
I started Rune Factory 4 (Nintendo Switch). Yep.
Currently FINAL FANTASY VII (not the remake one), Dead by Daylight, and Freespace 2. With that in mind, this is actually my first time trying Freespace 2, and I'm quite happy how similar the game feels to Ace Combat in terms of the intensity that the story can bring out in every mission. And I'm playing it through Knossos as well with the GOG copy being integrated to it so that I can easily play the game's mods right after I finish its campaign.

dtgreene: Got sidetracked a bit by Pokeclicker. (Just cross Pokemon and Cookie Clicker and you get this game.)
Interesting find! Pokeclicker is now my next favorite after cookie clicker.. Another one i like is the space bar clicker where they replaced the mouse clicks with space bar presses so that people do not automate clicks and cheat!

Unfortunately, Space Bar Clicker doesn't seem to have any interesting mechanics.

Two really good games in the genre are Candy Box 2 (go out on an RPG-like quest where you explore the land, slay monsters, and even solve puzzles) and Universal Paperclips (you are an AI tasked to produce as many paperclips as possible; it starts with a simple shop, and then grows from there, even competely changing twice during the game and culminating with exponential growth).
I play Witcher 3 and Pubg. I recently passed Call of Duty 4. I mostly like various MMORPGs like warcraft and albion online. I also like to play money games lol. I don't know why, but when I play, I get a lot of emotions like intrigue, fun and just pleasure. Sometimes it's poker, sometimes slots or 21. Recently I played staking crypto (this is not an advertisement, I just want to share my experience with you). I even made some money lol. But here's the thing, you have to remember that this is a casino and you need to play wisely and not go into agony. If you follow these rules, you can actually make money!
tnx for reviews I was looking for smth new to play and i found chainers nft games. These games are entertaining, there are many nft characters, I can take part in tournaments and get in-game tokens while playing. In the future every player will be able to monetize in-game achievement and start earning.

Finished the storyline to TMNT Shredder Revenge and Injustice 1. Playing through Warcraft 2 and will start the expansion as soon as I'm done with the base game.

Friend me if you like since my GOG friends list is pretty bare.
Playing Swarm Simulator.

The numbers go *really* high in this game. (I have over 10^53 meat right now.)

Apparently, the numbers eventually get so high that the developers had to use custom number handling, as double precision floating point, which can (imprecisely) handle numbers of 300+ digits, did not go high enough. (Apparently, some players reached infiinity meat, which would cause the game to behave strangely.)

Also, there's one really odd aspect of this game. The game is open source, yet there's a pay-to-win mechanic (which is optional, fortunately, and I suspect the game was balanced without it).
I've begun playing Wizardry 6 again (probably, I'll be playing a 6-7-8 through marathon).
My party is mage x 5 and a bird (lol) and then class-changed 4 mages to Fighter x 2, Thief, and Cleric.
The reason for this is that the spell recovery speed in resting is determined by their initial job.
The beginning game was quite difficult (My fighter's HP was just 2!) but my party finally became stable. I finished exploring the dungeon level1, 2 and under level of the castle, but I got stuck and couldn't find the way to the next area. Perhaps I'll need to read a walkthrough.

HIRO kun: The reason for this is that the spell recovery speed in resting is determined by their initial job.
That's one of the many ugly mechanics in Wizardry 6-7 that make me not want to play these games, to be honest. The "base miss chance" mechanic is another one.

(Also, the term used in these games I'm pretty sure is "class", not "job".)

I also don't like how Wizardry 6 took away the ability to go back to town to rest, recruit new characters, and change your party composition.

I completely agree to be honest. I prefer wiz 1-5 to 6-8. The reason for it is what you have said. Although I think wiz 6 itself is enough good game.
