IronArcturus: I don't think GOG ever had Escape from Butcher Bay. But Assault on Dark Athena was removed earlier this year.
Escape from Butcher Bay was bundled with it, you play it first then Dark Athena.... I bought that gem day one on release here on gog.

MadalinStroe: I wonder if there there is a GOG mix with all the games that might be in danger of disappearing due to licensing right expiring. If there is one, I'm having difficulty finding it.

TT_TT_TT_TT: ...3rd party licensing statuses - i mean it's not like all these contracts are public knowledge...
I know about that. What I meant, was a list of all licensed games. For example, should there be a catastrophic fall out between Disney and EA, Crusader no remorse/regret would be two games that would disappear from the store.

It's easy to identify licensed Star Wars, Star Trek, Lego, Telltale games, but I never could have imagined XIII being lost due to licensing, :( and this was one of the games I missed.

Well, XIII was based on a comic wasn't it? So probably not all that surprising.

On the other hand we had a game pulled recently (can't remember which one) because the license to music used in the game had ran out, which is nearly impossible to track, making such a list only marginally useful at best.

At the time, I had no idea about it being based on a comic. Which is why I was hoping a list existed, for such less obvious titles. About the other game, it was Alan Wake. As far as it was concerned, I agree that it would have been impossible to make any assumptions on it being in danger.

Not as a standalone product, but the Assault on Dark Athena game came bundled with Escape from Butcher Bay as a single product, and when you launch the game you can choose which of the two games you want to play. Both are pretty amazing games.
I hope they bring it back this is the only game I can see that shares gameplay quality with the new Cyberpunk. And I need to get my fill with that style of FPP.

Did you play:

Dishonoured 1 + 2
Metro 2033 + Metro the last light

already?

Game got delisted since some time, if i had to guess likely license expiration

Its highly unlikely to ever return aka dont count on it
They closed it down after three inmates managed to tunnel out using just a small file.
You see, the salt in the air from the bay was corroding the walls which, combined with the other antiquated facilities, just made it too expensive and too undependable to keep open.

Wait.
Maybe I'm thinking of Alcatraz.
