I'm personally hoping for a Witcher 1 remake - that is to say Witcher 1 using W3's engine and assets.
Beck during the System Shock remake debacle I was adently hoping CDP would take the development of the game and I still would like to see one of my most beloved franchises being taken care of by them.
Cyberpunk Multiplayer -> Pray it becomes as popular as Grand Theft Auto online -> Live on microtransactions for next decade.
Probably expansions for Cyberpunk 2077.

I'm curious to see what will happen to this CP2077 mutiplayer spin-off... seems to be in limbo at the moment. I mean, if the singleplayer world & mechanics have been cut down so much in an effort to get the game released, I don't think it'll all exactly go down well in multiplayer...
ET 2077, because being buried in the desert is the only place left to go.

In all reality though, microtransaction, online only shadow of a fraction of GTA5 online in a desperate race to the lowest of the low. All hail CDPEA!

Frozen: In this order:
1. Cyberpunk 2077 patches
2. Cyberpunk 2077 first DLC
3. Cyberpunk 2077 second DLC
4. Cyberpunk Online
5. The Witcher 4
6. The Witcher 4 patches
7. The Witcher 4 first DLC
8. The Witcher 4 second DLC
9. Cyberpunk 2078
Should we just keep incrementing numbers by 1 after that - or do you think there will be new IP at some point?

I hope not personally - there whole idea of endlessly remaking old games instead of creating new fresh content is being overused a bit much. Just like extending endless series of the same IP.

I agree there. Part of the problem is a lot of people are sortof mentally lazy. They see a game from an IP they are already familiar with (like Star Wars for example) and want to play that because they already know a lot about the Star Wars universe before they even start the game. And I think a lot of poeple like that. They don't really like the idea of being in some entirely unfamiliar world where they have to learn everything there is to know about the game world.

It's pretty sad, because I'm sure there are many other potential game worlds out there that could have been created and experienced which aren't being created or experienced because of people's dislike for trying new things. And many of the new worlds are potentially much better than what we have now.

You missed the Witcher 3 RTX Patch; I'm imagining that's going to be somewhere between 2nd and 5th priority for them (i.e. before the next Witcher, but after they've patched up CP)...
Gwent 2077...

I wonder what is the point of converting Witcher 3 to RTX. The game still looks good, not dated - but probably everyone who wanted to buy Witcher 3 already did it. So this will not lead to further sales and will not make people play it all over again either...

Just to see how difficult it will be to get Witcher 4 to run with decent frame rate - as a test?

Partly, but I think they might also be considering a re-release on the new consoles - there's probably some market there, and distribution costs are low these days (just stick it up as a download on the stores). I haven't played Witcher 3 yet, so I'm trying to hold on for the RTX patch. Although performance will probably be terrible unless they chuck DLSS 2+ in there as well...

That makes sense - I forgot about PS5/new Xbox. I don't think you will lose anything by playing without RTX - it's a graphically beautiful game and the reflections here are of less importance because of vast outdoor areas. Global lighting perhaps will be better with RTX but I don't think it will make such a massive difference - perhaps I will be proven wrong :) I wish I was in your position for this - playing W3 for the first time is a joy.
