I'd rather they take longer if that means they can ultimately include LAN right out of the box for people.

tremere110: Hopefully the delay is because they’re putting LAN back in.

necxelos: Was it ever taken out? I remember having LAN Parties on Soulstorm.
Relic patched LAN out of the Steam version so only Steam mutiplayer was available.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: Who cares?

They said that the GOG version won't have Crossplay with Steam, therefore it will not have any viable multiplayer, therefore it will not be worth buying.

darkangelz: Thankfully, gog will cater to those that dont give a shit about crossplay multiplayer, and release the game anyway, eventually.
Or multiplayer in general.
An "11 missions long" (possibly even more with the expansion(s)?) single-player campaign sounds more than reasonable.

That's some serious scumbaggery. So glad I have original discs, from before Steam even had the game.

I still got the CD/DVD versions so I don't really care. I'll buy it on GOG for convenience. And I hope they get the rest of the games too.

Personally I think the best we can hope for is that they implement Galaxy support, even if that means, that some people won't be happy about the multiplayer DRM.

I never touch MP in DOW. It's not like the game is being played online like COH2.

necxelos: It figures on GOG with "soon" tag for some time now. I already wishlisted it but nothing seems to happen. Why there is no announcement with date?
I agree, I'm tired of going on and searching DOW on GOG literally every day to see if it suddenly says available :/

Couldn't care less about online multiplayer support, in my experience most games get ruined by behaviour of other players online killing the enjoyment of the game. I certainly don't want to play with those skanky Steam users. But original game had LAN support so they should keep that and as long as we have skirmish mode vs AI players.
