Every time I double click on ee2 it always asks me to give permission to make changes to my device. I have the unofficial patch installed and now ee2 has a shield on it, how do i make it stop without disabling my entire freaking security system?
Well, given the UAC has existed since Windows Vista, I'm sure there are guides on how to properly disable administrative requests using the simple incantation of right clicking the icon and browsing the properties.

And this is why the good Zeus invented su and sudo. Not that any game should require absolute administrative power; see if you can contact the maker of the patch.

I fixed it! You just haved to right click on the shortcut click properties, then click compatibility then uncheck run as administator.
