If GOG were fishermen and we were the fish, we would all be in some serious trouble.
Good bait on your line this week guys. :))

olgar: I hope they fix problems in antara very soon.
I'm quite worried about this, too, especially since it seems everyone who played the GOG version of Antara (at least noone posted otherwise) ran into the same (game-breaking?) bugs that - if at all - can only be circumvented by using files from a pirated copy, after all I've read. I'm also a bit bewildered that apart from the game's forums hardly anyone mentions it. In one fo the following threads describing the problems a member from the GOG team promised they would work on a solution but there is no official statement or warning beside that, even though it seems that the version that is currently sold here may not allow a complete and satisfactory playthrough.

Given the circumstances I'd advise everyone planning to play Antara to use caution until we get an official statement or at least word from one GOG member who was able to play through the provided version without having to resort to illegal workarounds.

Own Arcanum and BAK - so I'll skip this promo. But isn't it good opportunity to spend that saved cash on Witcher 1? Yes.. to the checkout..
Ok ok... so I have a huge backlog, but I purchased Arcanum and Vampire... no real interest in the Krondor games. Damn you GOG you just trying to get me to 100+ GOG games aren't you? :p

@Gog:
Thanks for listening, these themed offers make much more sense than a haphazard collection like the last one(easter) from Ubisoft.

Ric1987: I'm considering Betrayal and Redemption(how good is it compared to Bloodlines anyway?). I already have Arcanum.
-Betrayal At Krondor is a real classic. Solid gameplay, great story, beautiful music and though limited in the 3D-section, still beautiful when it comes to 2D-graphics.
- I thoroughly enjoyed Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption.
The (lack of) AI in coterie members can be annoying as they will use massive disciplines to kill off a minor nuisance. You can temper this waste by rationing the blood containers.
The atmosphere and music is great and the amount of disciplines available is generous.
If you want to focus on a mixed set that works great with how *you* want to play it. The limited amount of polygons is quite well compensated with the effective use of texture mapping.

Thiev: Well, that problem is non-existent already. Now I'll wait patiently for Bloodlines to arrive at GOG :D
Ah, another victim of the plague!
Anyhow, A beer on me, if You ever visit 3city. :)

Holy crap that's awesome, TWW! Thank you very much :D
Arcanum is nice... But the learning curve is something horrible, and it smacks you in the face for even TRYING to be a gunslinger even a little bit at the beginning. It's one of those "o hai, this game is at its very hardest right at the beginning when you don't even know how to play yet. Cool? kthx" things.

But... I don't know, it just has so much character and spark beside all that.

But seriously. Guns at the beginning... You can bleed out your wallet just to do almost as much damage as someone who throws boomerangs, in the unlikely event that you even hit.

Yeah, your primary weapon isn't even as good as hitting them with a stick starting out. Really. If you really want to use guns, you have to stack some charisma, get 2-3 allies to do all the fighting for you, and then slug through until you can actually get good weapons. :-P

I took a mage, recruited a healer, two ogre-fighters, and a tech-fighter. Started gaining levels and getting items... it's a really slow start, but then you gain momentum and steamroll everything. Basically, when they made this, they decided that you have to suffer to show that you deserve to play the game. And then occasionally they'll drop a monster 15 levels higher than everything else nearby just to mess with you and see how often you've been saving.
