It looks terrible and like goofy fun all at the same time. I can't decide if it's be worth watching.

That looks so, so, so... very bad
I've seen the director's other work. But not that.
Aww I really want to watch that movie and its sequel (love the animated series! :D).

But a DVD release is actually the worse thing for me because:

1. It takes aaaages for anything from the US to ship to the UK. Download is much, much, much, quicker!!!
2. Additional Postage on top.
3. Video files are much more convenient. DVDs I have to rip, then compress, then convert if I want to watch them on the go. A pre-made avi takes most of that out.

Why don't we have a GOG for movies.... *sigh*
Should be a web released as episodes similar to the Guild - I would check it out then but to buy a DVD - not a chance.
Thanks, no way i'm going to miss that.
"Press Start" was, in fact, quite fun to watch.

The effects are cheesy, the acting is horrible, and the budget is practically nonexistent, but the writing was decent, and the constant video game references, from Paperboy to Metroid, Pokemon to Burgertime and Zelda, had me laughing all the way through it.

Don't expect some kind of miraculous work of art, but do expect to be thoroughly entertained.
What...the...fuck I've just watched? XD
I have to say it was hilarious and quite fun trying to catch all the references. The G. Forman bit was classic. :D

One thing I'm wondering though is why they replaced the actress that played Sam in the second movie yet kept everyone else? Anyone know the story behind that?
I checked Netflix, no rentals yet, but I'm sure it won't be long.
