Hi guys,

sorry to bother this entire forum with Facebook-related questions, but it is the only forum I care to be a part of, so I hope you do not mind!

Anyway, my question is very simple. I just went through a conversation with a buddy and deleted some of the messages I have previously sent. (NOT the entire thread of messages - just single messages here and there.) My question is - is he still able to read those messages, (did I only delete them from my "copy" of the thread,) or have I deleted them from the thread entirely?

I don't want to ask my buddy if he can see the messages or not, because the whole point of deleting them is that I regretted sending them in the first place and would rather not have him know that I sent them at all.
It depends, do you mean actual messages (the PM type things) or do you mean comments on a post on someone's wall?
I mean private messages.
If it was a private message he can still see it in his inbox.
Yeah, I'm fairly certain he'll still have it, sorry. D=
What they said.
Thanks guys.

I found the answer to my question when he answered the long message I thought I had deleted. Ah well, it went better than I thought.

Anyway, I won't keep this thread alive anymore, it has served its purpose. Thanks again!
