I just found this one. Some one has turned original Dune 2 into a web browser playable version.

Well, that has to be all kinds of illegal.

Still, it runs on OpenDune, which is apparently a project akin to OpenTTD, only with Dune II. While it's a nice effort, I certainly hope they'll update the controls, otherwise I don't think it'll be much of a success. I just tried the first level, and while I loved the game back in the Amiga days, I'm too spoiled by modern RTS controls now. The original Dune II controls are just too awkward to use today.

I don't give a damn about legal, but yeah... these controls are unplayable. I could live with M to move and A to attack if there was a drag box. But there isn't.

I'll stick to my "abandoned" copy of Dune 2000.
