doccarnby: Oh man, I love the second one. I can't wait for the next one. I will agree about the first one though. Awful. But for some reason I've watched it a lot. Something about it just makes it a fun watch. Have you ever watched/played Scourge of Worlds?

RangerSolo: Can't say I have. Will have to look into that.
It's entertaining. There's a special edition, but I only have the normal edition.

Thanks again for the heads up on this.

No problem. Always glad to help.
yeah, e-mail is a bit complicated but if you find a group that is using a forum to run their games then time zone is no issue because turns will usually last for a day or two so that everyone playing will have a chance to post their actions.

you just check in on the thread once a day, read up on what the GM has posted and what the other players have stated what they want to do, then post your actions.

the next day you check back in about the same time and see what the result was, it's kinda playing in slow-motion but it turns out pretty cool in that you will start fighting a battle (or something) and by the time you get around to sorting out the loot it's like a week latter.
Just that little fact of finding such people.

*sigh*

I have all these dice and figures and a large hex grid with no one to play D&D with.

And have the DM just roll the dice for the character action. That way it's a good honor system, since you only have one person who should be worthy enough running the game be good enough to keep honest about the rolls.
