As Oorryyrroo said, he, nmillar and I all played Dark Heresy with rooshandark8, it went less than favourable. I mostly placed my vote for giggles, and to get a reaction. He pretty much reacted the way I expected hi mto - he outed his ability (I would have hoped he had been mafia though).

Considering that he is a double voter, and therefore unlikely to be mafia, I will not keep my vote on him. unvote rooshandark8

On the scummier side, I think we have Ghost. While a scummy behaviour is usually thought of as being jumping the bandwagon, Ghost seems to point out bandwagons and avoid them, and he has already voted for 3 people. Perhaps trying to vote for everyone in hope it will not bite him later on? I think he's fishy, more fishy than a full professional catch of fish on a good day.

Came back to reread my post and I see good old English syntax bit me in the arse there. To clarify, the sentence

I do not think it's nmillar who got the wagon going.

was meant to be understood as I do not think the mafia is nmillar, since it was him who started pushing the wagon and not *I do not think it was nmillar who started pushing that wagon.

Excuse this semi useless post, everyone, I just want to be clear about this. Misunderstandings can be quite dangerous in this game.

Let's ennumerate my votes, shall we?

Once for bazilisek, at the random voting stage -- and it was clear my vote was in fun, considering it wasn't till a decent while later I even started getting remotely serious.

Once for Robbeasy: I was reaction-fishing. It's possibly unclear that I was, because I did my best to get reactions. Probably scumbag looking, but notice that the second I had someone actually somewhat scummy in my sights I dropped that rock like a live grenade -- in my "unvote Robbeasy" post his name comes up once with no reasoning at all for dropping him.

And now for Orryyrro, who strikes me as scumbag through and through, and append to the post who I think his accomplices may be. You're in the list and your reaction is pure retaliation. nmillar hasn't retaliated, but the cynical edge of the comments towards me ever since I made that post make me even more skeptical of him than I would be otherwise.

I'll keep my vote on Orryyrro. If I even survive the first night (seems unlikely at this point) I know who my next targets will be.

Maybe he's using this bandwagon thing as an excuse for him to try to vote off random townies.

I too, will vote GhostGlyph for now and see what happens.

You gave it away in your post, and similarly gave away that -you- are Mafia, through simple poor wording. Whoops! I'm not going to jump vote from Orryyrro yet, I need more info before I figure out who's not scum, but you're defo scum now.

Well, let's have a look at your post here:

The problem lies in the wording.

First off, you seem to be holding -- at the time of the above post -- an air of detached amusement. "Lynch me?" it says. "What nonsense! But I'll entertain your childish games." Still not scummy by itself, but combined with the above goal it seems strange -- if you're not worried about being lynched, as evidenced by the attitude in your post, then why go and paint me a scumbag? Still, a possible mistake for a townie.

The issue comes when we look at a fragment of the first sentence, specifically "any whom you're so convinced of as scum turns out to be town."

Any. Not "I," not "me," "any."

You let the cat out of the bag there, because it was clearly a calculated attempt. You didn't want me to be able to figure out which of you were mafia and which one was the townie. If you had posited yourself right off the bat, the post wouldn't be the nail in the coffin for me. I'd still suspect you but I wouldn't be certain to this degree. But "any" says "I know one of us is a townie, and I know who, but I sure as hell ain't tellin'." A mafia phrase, not a townie one.

While I do agree with you that Orryyrro is the bandwagoneer, indeed, to the point that thats where my vote is at the moment (Orryyrro not done much if anything to persuade me otherwise) - I'm not sure the others hold up too much.

Damnation - interesting. Got plenty of reaction, with an aggressive vote for Ghost thrown in as well. That was quickly followed by GoJays and now Nazarush as well.

Of course the whole rooshdark voting may have been from something outside of the game - a joke vote by all of the above (Dark Heresy game??). Which sort of blows the Ghost theory out the water.

But as theories are all we have to go on at the moment, I'll stick with Orryyrro. Ghost is causing some concern with the aggressiveness and has gone up the scum list a little, but then so have Damnation, GoJays and Nazarush for jumping on this second 'Bandwagon'.

So, as usual , more questions than answers. But until Orryyrro gives a satisfactory explanation for blatent early bandwagonning, I'll stick with him.

Jesskitten's explanation was sufficient, yes. I think GoJays and Nazarush are probably town, though I'm not sure, either of them could be the third mafia. They both give fairly good reasons for a lynch-vote on me, concerns which I hope my previous post allayed.

Damnation is a scumbag. He goes straight from a pure retaliatory post to a post where he seems confident in his safety, and when that didn't make me back off he jumped to the defensive, hoping someone will hear his pleas. His "confident" post, as I outlined in my prior post, shows scumbag tendencies. And he's got nothing on me except for delaying my explanation of his wording for a later post, while his actions are decidedly anti-town in nature.

Of course, I'm not going to be able to make my case very easily, because my certainty (along with a poor choice to delay my explanation of his scumpost) seems to have gotten a few people suspicious. But that is the price of being correct and poorly planned for it.

Ghost, you truly do amuse me. I'm hardly on the defensive, if I seem such, then I am truly conveying what I say the wrong way.

And talk about misinterpretation and jumping at extreme conclusions - my reason for noting using "I" or "Me" in my post was because any lynching will disprove your theory. If you truly want me lynched, then fine, go ahead, go for it. But you truly are making a rushed conclusion, and your views hold no true merit. I mean, just how is it so incredibly anti town in nature to fish for reactions? You're doing the very same thing, are you not? Your vehemence can easily be seen as a mafia pulling for a fast lynch.
Using wording as your only reasoning for labelling me as absolute mafia is just not sufficient in anyway, but if you, and others, think so, then go for it, lynch me.
