But I wish there was a place I could buy it DRM-free. I purchased it waaaaay back in late March of 2008 directly from Bit-Blot and regret not only losing the install file, but also all the emails tied to my purchase. I tried rebuying it the other day only to find that the purchase page is no longer hosted by Plimus.

I know it was offered during one of the Humble Bundles, but I unfortunately missed that one.

So does anyone know if this is purchasable anywhere besides Steam? Still one of the best indie metroidvanias around IMO.

Aquaria might very well be the best indie game I ever got in a bundle. I think it had a higher than average price on their website and I always thought that might be the reason why it's not on GOG, but if it's on Steam for 10 EUR, I can't see a good reason why it shouldn't be sold here, too. Or in the Humble store, seeing that it was already part of two bundles. Does the version from Bit Blot's website have DRM?

fortune_p_dawg: No, it doesn't have DRM, but that particular storefront isn't active anymore. And yes, it's damn awesome. Everything in that game just gels soooo perfectly.
