Yes, I know Steam has it, yadda, yadda, yadda... but, yeah...

But I wish there was a place I could buy it DRM-free. I purchased it waaaaay back in late March of 2008 directly from Bit-Blot and regret not only losing the install file, but also all the emails tied to my purchase. I tried rebuying it the other day only to find that the purchase page is no longer hosted by Plimus.

I know it was offered during one of the Humble Bundles, but I unfortunately missed that one.

So does anyone know if this is purchasable anywhere besides Steam? Still one of the best indie metroidvanias around IMO.

I have it through HumbleBundle, but I don't have spare bundles unfortunately.
It's indeed an amazing game. I quite liked it. Hope you can resolve it some way.

Ah, I didn't even think of that. I suppose I could buy an extra bundle from someone. Hmm...

Aquaria had its source released during HiB1. You could try looking for a source port and use asset files from Steam.

You'll want HumbleBundle 1.
Hope someone has a spare =)
It is a shame Humble Store do not seem to sell it as it hosts the DRM free downloads still for those who got the first (and second) bundle.

I noticed that too.

It was also a bonus in the Humble Introversion bundle.

Aquaria might very well be the best indie game I ever got in a bundle. I think it had a higher than average price on their website and I always thought that might be the reason why it's not on GOG, but if it's on Steam for 10 EUR, I can't see a good reason why it shouldn't be sold here, too. Or in the Humble store, seeing that it was already part of two bundles. Does the version from Bit Blot's website have DRM?

If someone has a spare Humble Bundle 1 they'd be willing to part with I'll gift them any $20 or less game on GOG.

No, it doesn't have DRM, but that particular storefront isn't active anymore. And yes, it's damn awesome. Everything in that game just gels soooo perfectly.

Have you tried contact Bit.Blot? Might be the easiest solution.
Might even be able to convince them you already purchased it with them?

I read that their admin e-mail account is not read that much, but others suggest that contacting Alec himself has worked wonders.

Try zaphire -at- gmail -dot- com or @infinite_ammo on twitter (argh, I actually suggested the T-word. I will now probably go to hell).
Also support forum on their site?
