I was thinking of buying Call of Duty 3 for Wii. I'm wondering whether or not this game good.

WOOPS, didnt see that you were purchasing for wii, which invalidates my entire previous post, I do not have much of any experience with the Wii in regards to FPS so I cannot say whether it is good on the wii, or not. Sorry *facepalm*

I only have experience with the XBOX 360 version.

Online multiplayer is absolutely horrible, and in any case, online is dead these days anyway. I dragged it out from the depths of my collection recently after a 3-year break, and nobody was online.

The single-player is alright, but fairly bland and repetitive to be honest. CoD 3's controls suck as well. I've seen dozens of console shooters do it better.

Edit: Aaaand I too missed the Wii thing. Can't speak for Wii, as I have the PS3 version. Would be interested to know if the WiiMote provides a better experience though. Seems to work quite well with Metroid Prime.

Do you mean Modern Warfare 3 or Call of Duty 3?

Because Call of Duty 3 (The WW2 game) was one of the few Wii shooters I played and (maybe it was the novelty) found surprisingly fun. They really tried to capture the unique control scheme.

But it was only a brief experience at a friends house.
