That GOG had a Mark All Read Button for the Forums - Been Gone for a few days and it would be so much easier to catch-up.

+1 to that. I've longed for a "go to first unread post" button that would also make catching up on threads a bit easier. That in combination with a better way of viewing a list of threads I've posted in (the "My Posts" page sometimes gives iffy or incomplete results).

I've stopped trying to make sense of the forum, I just coast blindly till I hit something interesting. Nice suggestion though.
