I could understand the OP if he was lacking food, a place to live, and potable water because of red hair. Bitching about some daft bints not wanting to go out with him because of red hair and calling for his own death because of a random genetic mutation or two is rather ridiculous and small-minded.

So yeah i have red hair, so does my sister. I always found it funny growing up when an adult (usually barber or hair cutter person) would say wow you have such beautiful hair I wish I had hair like that when I was growing up... Really I thought, you wished kids made fun of you because of your hair everyday, is what i thought, wow you must be nuts!!!

Truth be told I'm not to much older then you (28), and there will come a time when you realize that if all someone can do is make fun of or harass you because of your hair, then they aren't to bright. Take it from another red head, firecrotch, gloden boy, etc... Those people don't deserve your respect or the right to have anything they say mean anything to you or to anyone who truly respects you for who you are.

Being a guy, I'm not too sure about guys but chics with red hair are a very hot rarity.

You're not alone. I'm ginger, and now I'll change my forum title so that everyone can see. Honestly, it's something that I like about myself, so I won't let anyone make me feel bad about it.

I understand always feeling like you stand out. I also understand your reluctance to dye your hair. But whether you want to show the world what you look like or change how you look, make a decision and stand by it with no regrets.

Dude just dye it, if you get it done by someone who knows what he or she's doing, it won't look fake. I mean, except to those who already saw you with the red hair before, of course. I'm guessing you're gonna have to kill them, you know, to keep the cool.

Also, I wouldn't call being a ginger a disease... just a little genetic mutation, no biggie!

@OP : I know a couple of blokes with red hair, that do very well at dating women. It's not about feeling singled-out and harassed, it's about being confident in who you are. External factors are external, and mostly irrelevant. (Unless you're John Merrick).

Stop focussing on it, and relax!
