Hi everyone,

All of a sudden I start to get this message for a really short time before Dosbox crashes back to desktop:

dosbox exit to error: can't init sdl directinputdevice::setcooperativelevel: unkown directinput error: 0x80004001

Has anyone suffered from this problem, and succeeded in fixing it? I have tried all suggested solutions I could find but no game, which kind of sucks. I now play games with dosbox 0.72, but sound doesn't seem to work all that well (Tyrian 2000) and it seems to crash a lot or speed up (Gabriel Knight 1). I just want Dosbox 0.74 back on it's feet.

Might have to do with either your joystick or keyboard. Think joystick.
Do you have one or have drivers/traces of it on your system.

Nope, I don't have a Joystick, controller or whatnot. Just an ordinary plug and play microsoft keybord/mouse.
