I have a suggestion that I think would greatly improve the quality of purchasing games on GoG for both newer gamers and for seasoned vets. I'm quite sure everyone has noticed on Amazon when you check the reviews for a product and you see the highest rated most helpful review and the highest rated most critical review. I think this is awesome and I am proposing that GoG implement just that system. Wouldn't be all that difficult to do and I think it would promote a level of transparency, plus help people see both the nostalgia/positive sides of a game and the more realistic/cons side of a game. Some may argue that this could hurt business, but on the contrary, I believe that by making your products more transparent you will increase the level of customer satisfaction. I say this because knowing exactly what I'm buying before I buy it, ensures a higher level of satisfaction with my purchase.

GoG has such an awesome and wide selection of games, so this feature would allow someone to easily find the right game for them!

I'm not sure if this is where suggestions are supposed to go, because I'm not very active on the forums, but I figured I would post here anyways. What do you guys think about this idea? I would love to get some feedback, because I think it would very much improve GoG for the better.

On a side note, what about rep from the forums being tied to rep in reviews? Just a thought...

there is likely an entry in the wishlist for this but I cant be assed finding it so...

Yeah it's a good system.

Personally I watch a lengthy youtube video of unedited gameplay and make my decision off that. I tend to assume all GOG reviews are tainted by agenda or nostalgia. The system you're advocating would go a long way to repairing that belief.

Ah okay, I was under the impression that the wishlist was only for games. That is good to know! Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback I tend to the same thing quite often. That is, watching a lengthy let's play or a play through of a game I plan on buying. I think this idea would definitely help cut down on the amount of that...or at the very least the amount of time spent wading through reviews :).
I added a link to the wishlist item in the first post.
