Fesin: Is it only me, or are those bundles getting weaker and weaker with every new contestant?
I'm really sensing this "indie bubble" to burst soon.
That bubble effectively burst last summer when everyone and their mother had an indie games bundle with a charity angle and a "kinda-sorta-pay-what-you-want" business model. We even have an indie bundle that's so comically far from "indie" that's it's a total joke.

amok: The bundle is up now, if anyone is interested.
The bundle is sparse, to say the least. There's no info or mention at all about who's doing this, or why. There's not even any links for support or an FAQ, or mention of minimum system requirements.

This smells of someone who likely just started a bundle out of his bedroom and looks to make a quick buck.
So I bought this bundle, and here's what I found out:

-Payments are handled by BMT Micro
-Offspring Fling and Home are only available as Steam keys
-Jottobots and Cortex Command are available as Humble Indie Store redemption links (I expect Cortex Command's page to give you a Steam key in addition to the DRM free download)
-VVVVVV gets a Steam key and a downloadable version
-All other games are downloadable from BMT Micro download pages
-Said download pages EXPIRE by the 25th of December
I got this bundle free, as someone was giving away codes for it through Twitter.

The games are definitely worth it.

- Offspring Fling is neat but it runs a bit slow. I think it was made in Flash though, so it's not an uncommon symptom. It's a time-trial type game, though, the replay appeal being to get better times.

- Jottobots is great, but given the nature of the global leaderboards, it's hard to muster up the courage to beat it after you've beaten it once, and it's able to be beaten in about 10 minutes.

- Probability 0 is great. Really well designed. Really difficult, too. It's a bit like a platformer-roguelike hybrid in the strictest sense.

- Starseed Pilgrim ...I haven't quite figured Starseed Pilgrim out yet.

- Thirty Flights of Loving was interesting, but I'll probably have to play through it again. I get the narrative appeal of the Gravity Bone series, but I'm not sure that the narrative makes up for the fact that you're paying $5 for a 10-15 minute game at its normal price.

- Captain Foraxian is an interesting shmup. The use of bullet time really makes the game stand out a bit.

- Deepak Fights Robots is...it's a bit odd. It's like a platformer where you dodge enemies while collecting stuff, and then destroy the enemy last minute. Each enemy has a different set of behaviors. It's pretty neat, but after seeing that you have unlimited lives, the leaderboard seems like it's a test of endurance rather than skill.

- I recently recommended Home. I still do. It's an interesting, creepy narrative experience.

- Swift*Stitch is a unique one-button game, and it is frustrating.

- Haven't played Puzzle Bots yet. Or Little Gardens. Not sure who DOESN'T own VVVVVV or Cortex Command at this point that was interested in them, but they're both really well-made.
Either it's a rather unprofessional attempt to start a bundle, or someone was looking for an innovative way to monetize surplus Steam and HiB keys gained through trading.
