Sorry to hear this man. It makes many years that I do not celebrate Xmas and the New Year cuz it is not in the Taiwanese culture to do so (it is merely commercial, so you have various adds displaying stuff saying in English "Merry Xmas!" in department stores etc). I wish however that some day I can go back during Christmas time to have one with my family gathered around the table, enjoy celebrations, exchanging gifts etc (and hope you can (as well as everyone else who cannot enjoy one at the moment) have one too in the coming years). Happy vacations to the luckiest ones! =)

I agree! This is one of the greatest communities I've ever been a part of! I've been given lots of gifts (and been able to give when I can), kind, and gracious groups of people. I'm glad I decided to finally go to the forums after beng a member for a year :) If only I had become active sooner... :)
