I am curious how the US administration's change of stance on the 1967 borders has affected public opinion and relations on your side. All I have is network news and my own speculation, so I would appreciate any feedback.

Educate me. :D
I'll be completely honest-
Distrust, hate and racism rule both streets while religious fanatics who thinks a 3000yo books and dust are more precious than life will happily slaughter the other.

The truth is neither sides truly wants peace or rather no one is willing to make any sort of a real sacrifice to achieve one, kids on both sides are brought up in to this realty and learn to accept it instead of aspiring to change it.

Militaristic , Zionistic and biblical BS are shoved down Israeli kids throats while the Palestinian learn that nothing could be more noble, heck holy even than blowing yourself up in the middle of a crowded street or a bus.

So to answer your question, no one really gives a fuck about what Obama says or thinks.
This thing goes so much deeper it's literally in both sides blood now, it's almost funny seeing people who think a few speeches gonna change that...
I just wish we could all get along, Jews, Muslims and Christians.

This has been my suspicion for a while. It's pretty much the only explanation for Lieberman's continued presence in Israeli government.

I do see a few signs here and there on the news about things possibly changing on the Palestinian side, what with the attempt at a peaceful demonstration against Israeli occupation. If they go that route, I can't imagine how Israel is going to be able to do anything about it. So long as it remains at the national level terrorists versus war criminals it's difficult to impossible for anybody with a conscience to take sides. But if one side starts following all the rules with regards to human life, it would be really hard for the other side to be able to continue.

And quite frankly, most of the is ultimately due to British and American foreign policy. If we wouldn't have provided Israel with all those weapons the situation would be a lot different.
