I posted in a thread about my problem with the Kayran QTE. I tried almost everything suggested in the thread: I changed LMB to Space bar in options, disabled Harder QTE's at the game's menu, put the mouse sensitivity at the maximum spot, did lots of tries... it is very, very frustrating, as I have little problems with the fight before (the one against the Kayran's tentacles) and I really enjoy this game, and I am really eager to continue its storyline.

So I have decided to upload my autosaved game just in the moment of facing the kayran. I would like a kind-hearted person to pass this phase to me, and to send me the savegame right after the kayran's fight, so I can continue playing without more issues.

You could also use a God Mode mod, see the "Full List of Mods" posted in this very board. This mod can even be instructive to you as you'll be free to try different approaches to defeat Kayran without any problems

Whats wrong? Is the game not registering you clicking the mouse or something? Not clicking fast enough?

To ais_bn: not exactly, my problem was with the QTE. The fight was quite difficult but I managed it. Thanks anyway.

To KenR7A: the problem is more or less the last thing you say, but I think there is a problem or something (maybe a problem with the mouse or sth, don't know exactly what) because the LMB QTEs are REALLY hard to me (curious thing seeing that I have managed to beat on Hard every fight with more or less problems depending on the fight). I have the feeling this problem has something to do with my mouse (it is 8 years old, maybe it's getting too old for this)

I am clicking the mouse for all it is worth and the game does not seem to be registering it. I am playing on easy, shut the qte difficulty off, turned my windows mouse sensitivity down and still nothing.

Not sure god mode would work. My problem is not getting killed, but that I can't get the QTE to work...it comes up...I click and click and click...but I can't get the bar filled.

How did you pass along your saved game. I am having the same problem and same frustrations....and would like to also beg for help...but I have no clue how to pass my file along.

Here's a little tip regarding these mouse-clicking QTEs: if you can't seem to fill the bar clicking with one finger, try using both index fingers from your left and right hands, alternating clicks on the LMB. This will allow you to click much faster than if you'd just used one finger. You'll have to find the rhythm but its really not difficult. Do this and you'll fill any bar in the game VERY quickly.
