I was wandering if there is anyone who acctually tried and finished the game in insane mode? I played the game swice (once on normal and once on hard). I found the less violant ways to finish the game but there are some problems that by 100% will fu** me up. The one i fear the most is "eternal battle" quest... I mean...it's a bad joke of CDP :\ how the hell should I fight 4 soldiers with one sword and one attack *hit* >< Fighting the dragon, Letho and the Draug together would be easier than this ****

It especially punishes those who've chosen the alchemist or sign trees.

Those are okay relative to another semi-hidden boss in Act III. I wonder who can do that without dying on insane.

The sword fight before is manageable. First three can be annoying, just remember to block and move such that only one can attack you at one time. The other 4 you can lure one by one. At first I had no idea so I was fighting all 7 and died like a whoreson.

From what I see I should go on Quen SIgn lvl 2 as protection for all of it's benefits and invest all the other points in sword and movement skills. Having the best gear is important as well and gladly i know how to get it. I should have bombs as well, as many as possible for any need.

I tried taking them one by one but it takes alot of time and it's very risky. i managed to kill them all at once by jumping on them from behind and letting my 4 soldiers to attack them from the side... somehow they all died in 5 secounds :S... pure luck XDD

I am talking about the sword fight before Draug, not the other one in Act 2.

And the hidden boss fight I mentioned is in Act 3, not Act 2.
1 guy on gamefaqs claimed he did. not sure whether to believe him or not.
I don't believe it is even possible. I died several times during the game because my keyboard controls locked up and I couldn't move till dead. This happens rarely but regularly enough to make sure you'll die from such an occasion. You can die randomly during the eternal battle if you'll get accidentally get hit, while running as a priest-ghost, by a single fireball. Sometimes there is a situation when you cannot avoid a hit no matter what you do, it's just random death. Sometimes you can get stuck in the environment glitch and die because of it (happened to me during several fights). During the dragon fight there is a bug when the dragon hits you, sometimes you fly in the opposite direction to the direction of a hit, contradicting laws of physics, right under the dragon belly and die before you can have a chance to stand up. You can die during the conversation with somebody near campfire because the game engine will put you right into the campfire itself. I would say 1 chance out of a billion to make it.
Is there any incentive to beating it on insane other then "self-accomplishment" or "bragging rights"?

Also, can someone PM me the info for the semi-hidden boss in Act 3?
