Credit where it is due .... Patch 1.2 fixed enough of the combat issues that combat is now fun insread of frustrating.
Pre-1.2 there was far far to many intstances where Geralt would just stand there doing nothing especially after casting a spell. it still happens but not enough to break combat.
Geralt still sometimes hurls himself into the middle of a pack of Necker when I actually want him to just attack the edge one, but at least he isn't running straight at the enemy instead of attacking any more.
The two things that I think still need work is some tweaks to the Kayron encounter to make it flow better and be more believable AND it would be nice if night and caves were actually dark (yes my monitor is calibrated, actually that may be the problem)
