So I wandered through the Mist paid the whores a Royal sum and entered the caves.
Now I got the problem that I am stuck.
I existed the cave where there is the entrance to the camp and it is locked.
I found a video on youtube where when you exit the cave there is a rowing boat and a Nilfgaardian soldier.
But not for me. Is it a specific time when I need to be there? I cannot meditate either.

Oh and can Stennis die after saving Saskia? I hate this son of a troll but didn't let the servants lynch him.
Maybe I should let em do it.

It may be that you need to climb up a bit. If i'm thinking of the same part, you may be missing a ledge just out of your sight line.

As far as Stennis.... hope you can learn to live with him in the future...the future you gave him... *hint hint*

I did the same as yourself....and that's one of the choices I still ponder over.
You may be on the wrong cave exit.

One exit leads to the backdoor of the army camp, that is locked while on this quest and you can't do a thing about it.

Another exit, further down the cave complex, bring you to the back of a small beach and a camp with some tents, a wooden barricade stopping the entrace. That's the right exit, and you'll notice because a NPC (won't say who to avoid spoilers) will trigger a conversation as you step out of the caves.
I will check when I get back home. I started over with Stennis and let him die. I hate him even if he did not poison Saskia and the priest is the only culprit I do not care.
Spoilers below

Actually you can blame him for the poisoning as he didn't try to stop the priest, nor did he warned the virgin. But i spared him anyway in my first run and after playing again, and this time letting him killed, i do not regret letting him live as it is the lesser evil. If you let him live Aedirn will descend into chaos, revolutionaries killing nobles. I am not against those noble whoresons getting killed as they had it coming but to kill them without introducing a new order, without any trials? This definitely leads to chaos in two ways; first, like i said, there is no new order to replace the former one and second, people will think they can get even with using violence, even with the slightest issue or will think they can do whatever they want with the brute force. You may say that Saskia will be the "new order" but you'll probably be wrong as Saskia is just a military ruler and she'll probably will have challenges even with ruling Upper Aedirn, she surely won't be able to rule whole of Aedirn, which is the frontier against Nilfgaard.

Killing Henselt, on the other hand, is probably the lesser evil as if you let him live the savage bastard prick will be given whole of Aedirn in Loc Muinne and Aedirnians will surely suffer with his rule. But if you kill him Aedirnians won't suffer, the candidate who is close to the throne("Prince Penis... *ptooey* rather Stennis" mentions it) will ascend to the Aedirnian throne, chaos will not reign over Aedirn. There is also the issue of what will happen to Kaedwin if we kill henselt, if we kill him probably someone close to the throne will be the king and if nobles don't accept it will be divided like Temeria but no need to worry as unlike Temeria or Aedirn, Kaedwen is not the frontier to Nilfgaard so consequences will not be as bad as the death of Foltest or letting Stennis killed by the mob.

Finished act 2 now. And you are maybe right. Ah well now there are 3 countries without a king.
Maybe Redania and Temaria will be united under Princess Adda.
OK next stupid question. Why doesnt Cecil Burdon drink anymore?
It is why he has to look after his nephew or is his nephew his child with his sister?

I don't know if Cecil had any incestous relationships but Skalen is not his child, Skalen is taken by him after his family perished in one of the massacres Demavend arranged for nonhumans, which Cecil remembers but doesn't want to talk about. Not everyone is Foltest nor Emhy var Emreis.
