Hey all, i searched through the posts here but cannot find if there is a way to remap certain actions (parry/block, etc) to a mouse button?
My mouse has 3 additional buttons that i wish i could use, any ideas?

you can remap the keys in the configurator. just go to your witcher 2\bin folder, open configurator.exe and click on Input Settings...
thanks m, i'll give it a shot as soon as i get out of work...only 7 more hours ;)

If that doesn't work for some reason, there are a few threads discussing how to directly edit the .ini files to achieve your desired result. Search around for 'em.
I'm so used to block being RMB in these kinds of games that "E" really throws me off. That said since there is fast and heavy attacks I can see why they did it the way they did.
I was going to say, I'd really like to use the middle mouse button as either the selecter for powers and quick use items. I almost instinctively press it for that for some reason. That or use it for parrying.

Doubleclick on the box and it will turn red. Press the mouse button you want to use and the box should say Mouse button #. I use the side buttons on my mouse for block and dodge.
using the configurator did work, thanks y'all

I made it so that....
LMB = Fast Attack
MMB = Strong Attack
RMB = Block

I did the same shortly after bitching ;)
They stated in the announcement video that we'll be able to map all the functions now. Is there a new way to do so? I'm missing the option to remap quick save and quick load to num+ (save) and num- (load), as it's close to the mouse and I don't like moving my lazy left hand around...

Plus I'd like to set inventory key to the tab key, for the same reason. But I don't even know if that key is free.

I'm confused.. he said:
You can bind any function of the game to any key on your keyboard

That's been around 06:15 ... well, I won't be naggy about the quick save/load part, since it's rather uncommon to remap those. But the inventory key is nothing exotic, or is it? So I guess I'm missing something?

I'll attach what I've got there. I'm feeling silly looking around thinking "But it just has to be there, the nice guy said any function... it has to... where? Where? Where? Uhm..." ;-)
