I seem to have enough cloth and boards in my bag to build a fleet of boats.

Is there somewhere I can stash it, like a storage box with my name on it? I'm in flotsam.
I'd like to know this too, surely the player isn't expected to carry everything needed for crafting and alchemy around with them everywhere?
I'm resorting to selling things I'd rather not, as I've not yet found a way to store crafting stuff (especially heavy things iron ore and timber).

If anyone knows if there's a storage bin somewhere, speak up, please!
Doesn't seem to be any. Stop picking up all the common crafting items (iron ore, timber, cloth, leather), and only go get them when you need them, is what I do.
have you checked for an inn yet? innkeepers were your storage keepers in witcher 1

this. There has to be a place to store your stuff.
Definitely not the innkeeper. Seriously, been everywhere in Ch1, I think. There is no storage.
Yeah, it doesn't seem like there's any storage as far as I can tell.

One strategy that might help is combining the base ingredients into a more complex ingredient. So take that regular leather and make it into hardened leather. 3 weight turns into 1.

I definitely think they should consider reducing the weight of some of the materials since there is no storage.

In the meantime, avoid picking up leather, cloth, iron ore, and timber that's easily accessible in town if you are too low on inventory space.
