There are quite a few of them. No matter what angle you get at them, the access container UI button just won't show. Other times it is because the container is just blocked by other scenery - and Geralt just can't get close enough - many a time it's pretty much "invisible barrier" BS!

You gotta admit it, "The Witcher 2" has one of the worst "object handling" UIs ever made...... why could they not stick to tried, trusted ways that work...... like as in "Morrowind", "Oblivion", "Skyrim" etc?

I only ask this as there's one in Philippa Eilhart's room in Vergen. I suspect it might contain something useful rather than the usual random "cloth" or "twine" objects - as Geralt's pendant vibrates when going near it. It's a small chest/cabinet tucked behind a bed with red sheets and a cupboard. It highlights as a container with using the pendant, but it is simply unreachable!

Anyone know of anything here?

God it is so buggy....... I'd expect better from this game (with it's reputation) really.

The Vergen Mines battle, the game did not freeze itself, but Geralt suddenly refused to accept any inputs at all and just stood there when one battle started upon walking through a door (with a short cutscene). All I could do was let him get killed so I reload. Luckily it had autosaved just minutes earlier. Don't know whether it will happen again or not - I'm about to try. If it does happen again (ie, it's a permabug) I'll consider uninstalling and dumping this title for good before I waste anymore of life's precious hours upon it.

No wonder Cyberpunk 2077 ended up with the "astounding" QA it is famed for.

And whatever you do folks, do NOT press "H" while playing! Honestly, trust me....... but as you'll do it, curisoty piqued and all, press "H" again to "undo" it's effects :D!

I did the 'The Secrets of Loc Muinne' quest (Iorveth's path) earlier this evening.
Got stuck several times at 2 doors (starting from the 1 with the 1st eye). At the 1st even 2 of the NPCs got stuck. Had to bump into them to get them to move again.
Luckily I saved just before that.

NPCs totally hemming you into corners is quite frequent. That also happened in this Vergen mines missions tonight, just after the other problem. All three dwarven companions just crowded round me whilst I was in corner, and just would not get out of the way. Also happened in Flotsam with the lousy kids that follow you around going "I'm a witcher, hiiii-ya!" - they to hemmed me into a corner the other day.

The presentation of this game is very good, but many of it's ideas, mechanics and UI are really piss poor.

I didn't have issues with the kids in Flotsam nor the dwarves in the Vergen mines.
