So, I might be getting W3 soon (wanted to wait for EE release eventually, but the hype is getting me). So I'm wondering, what carries over from W2 save to W3? Are those just decisions, or are items or experience carried over in some part too?

Only some of your decisions are carried over to Witcher 3 but they only have a very small affect on the game.
