Hello.

********SPOILER*******
I am on Contract: Missing Brother
I have found the lair in the mine, and have 'tried' to fight Kirrissi (big giant bug).
I CANT beat it, as it 1 shot kills me (I AM on easy easy mode).

So, I try getting out of there, back to the mine (and a different quest), but it seems that after you find the lair you are stuck there?
I cant swim anywhere else except to 2 dead end locations and the lair.

Any help would be appreciated (besides to load an older save, as I didnt save for a long while before I went into the mine).

I don't really know how to help you, since I knew beforehand that the quest would be too hard for me and skipped it.

Hey pal, theres actually a way out or else how did you get there lol. There are two places in that area where you can dive one has two underwater paths and the other one is a straight line, the last one is the one that will take you to the first area of the mine. I hope it made sense since English ain't my first language... If it didn't just try to remember how u got there

Hi there.

That quest I think is for players on at least Lev 33, as per recommendation in game. I'm on Lev 5 going on 6, and I tried it just to get a taste of it. Really hard, but planned on getting back at it later.

Hello Dave, there is an alcove with a ladder that takes you up a hallway, use your Witcher senses to spot a Turn Wheel by a post on the wall that lowers the Draw Bridge that will take you right back to the Entrance. The Arachas in that particular quest is lvl 30+ so it's much too son for you to be trying to fight it.

but, I CANT get back to the mine, at all.
I am stuck where the Boss Kirrisi is.
It seems once you get the Kirrisi cut scene, you either have to kill it, or go back to a save.

I have gone back in the water, and found 1 area that looks like a triangle, that is a dead end.
I went the other way, and it opened to a weird area (all squigly), but they were all dead ends.
I went into a straight angled area, and found a treasure box I had missed earlier.
BUT, these are the only areas I can get to.
I cant get back to the mine itself.

It looks like there is 1 area where I am supposed to get to underwater, its all lit up, but when I get to it, it is walled off and inaccessible, blocking my path from going up into an area.

So, again, if you had the boss kirrisi cutscene, it seems to lock you out from going back to the mine until you kill kirrisi boss.

If anyone has gotten that far, and actually started fighting the boss, and been able to get back out of that area into the mine, then please let me know the paths (underwater) to do it?
Because, I seem to be locked into that area.

No mate. You can go back from that. The cutscene does not lock you out from escape. I was exploring and stumbled upon this missing brother quest too. I just ran away in terror when I saw it.

You just have to go back the way you entered those mines. Make some pictures or a short movie with Bandicam. Let us see what on earth it is going and I am sure we can come up with a solution.

I had exactly the same trouble, after giving up on trying to kill him, I walked & swam around for bloody ages.
When swimming you have to surface in the right area & then you have to look for places to climb up

I found the exit in the room where kirrisi was, 1 shot swim.
Embarrased.
:P

I kept thinking I got there from the other pools, like 3-4 of them to get to kirrisi.
