I cant travel to skellige and the most recent 1.07 patch didnt fix it. The game crashes to the desktop every time the cutscene hits after you talk to the captain and set sail. This is game breaking for me and I paid good money for this game... how can i fix this?

I had a similar issue, which I resolved my opening a slightly older save. It meant replaying about 10 mins, but at least I was able to continue on with the game. Are you able to do this?

Hi Deathstar666, i got the same problem but i found a workaround for me. Simply abort the cut Scene bei pressing the abort Button. I am not sure wich one it is on the Keyboard ofcource i play with a gamepad. On the Gamepad it is the "X-Button"

so long... :)

I encountered the problem 2 times. It never stopped me from finishing the game.
When it happened I just stayed where I was, did a new quest or point of interest and then tried again and managed to change area.

I managed to get around it. I lowered all of my settings to minimum settings and got around it. Not sure why that fixed it but it worked.
