The notes have been posted at the CDPR forums and a couple of the major gaming sites. I'm not sure if I can post links here (sorry) but just thought I'd mention it since I haven't seen anyone else mention it yet. According to CDPR the patch will drop "quite soon" and mainly targets performance issues with a few other quest and achievement fixes added as well.

You can post links here. Use the "chain" button next to the underline function when posting and put the link text in the "url=" field.
The post release support has been wonderful (I mean that too) but hasn't the majority of patches so far been "performance improvement" focused?

It's getting a bit wearing either the performance becoming worse or becoming visually unstable. The game for me specifically is "performing" fantastic except for the extreme popin of people appearing out of no where. Geralt's beard miraculously appearing/disappearing constantly in cutscenes too...

Performance has been generally the same for me as well. I haven't really noticed any performance dips with any of the patches--just lucky, I guess. The most noticeable issues are the NPC pop-ins and, like you said, Geralt's beard popping in after everything else, which can be pretty distracting (once it ceases to be humorous). I also occasionally see soldiers' helmets popping in several seconds into my conversation with them in cut scenes.

All in all, though, a minor gripe with an otherwise outstanding game.
