I started this game on PS4, played for around 5 hours. I then got my first gaming PC and started it again on that and I'm loving it. But my PC had a meltdown and i lost everything. I was only level 7 but just don't want to start again. I had finished all of White Orchard and was doing the quest with The Bloody Barren. Main Quest: A Princess in Distress or Main Quest: Family Matters or somewhere around there? I know its not very far in but I just don't have the time to start for a 3rd time. Can anybody help?

You have my sympathy. I had my hard drive die on me twice when I was trying to play The Witcher 1. I eventually finished it after 3 came out. :p Can't help you though. I keep like 20 save files but overwrite the oldest.

Excellent, I'm not home at the moment, but will download it and give it a go. Do you recall what mission and level it was? Either way, I'm not to fussed if I miss some quests or redo a few,will just wiki then :)

When I reached Vellen I did various quests and explored so I didn't want to ruin that for you, that save is just after White Orchard I think i completed most of what there is to do there

Also i noticed that the merchant at White Orchard that u save from the griffin has some gwent cards to sell so if you're into that don't forget to grab 'em, I didn't do that initially

might be a bit late but i have a really great early save game while still in white orchard before the griffin fight, made it to try out builds.
