I tried to update my game, but when it was installing the progress bar froze and the program stopped responding. I had to stop the updater, then I tried again. Every time I do it says
"This patch does not support your version of the game
please download a new installer"
My game says it's 1.08.

EDIT: Restored a version from 4 days ago and I think it's working now

EDIT 2: And it seems to be stuck on the end of the progress bar again. Great.

EDIT 3: And it stopped responding, the exact same thing happened and I still can't update. I'll try to re-download the patch, restore the folder again, and then try to patch it again.

For anybody with the same issue . . . I thought the installer had frozen on me too. Task Manager said it was not responding, but sometimes that’s the way installations go. I’d guess that I waited 2 minutes, maybe more, and the installer finished its job. In other words, try giving it more time.

GoG's patchers stop responding but keep working. I figured that this was common knowledge by now.
