I cant save game in windows 10, help!

Someone fixed this by starting the game as administrator.

still the same, entering like admin and doesn't work. ver. 1.08. what can I do?

check if you have saved games in the directory ....Documents/The Witcher 3/gamesaves/....
If there aren't any files like Autosave*.sav or Checkpoint*.sav then reinstall the game.

Did you update to Windows 10 after installing the game then reinstall the game under Windows 10.

It should work...
I have Windows 10 and no problem saving but I reinstalled the game after an upgrade from Windows 8.1 (with this game already installed) to Windows 10.

Just reinstall and do not remove anything beforehand.

And don't forget to backup your savegames before you reinstall. Just to be prepared if something goes wrong (normally there shouldn't be a problem but if you are using Galaxy... better backup).

I dont know what to do else. Im the midle of the game and I can not finish it!!!

Try looking at your properties of the files in your save directory....
Are they marked "read only" or "hidden"....
The *.sav files and the *.png files should neither by "read only" nor "hidden"....
You can check this by rightclick on the file (selecting it and opening the rightclick-menu) and click on "properties"....
At the bottom of the properties-screen you can see the marks "read only" and "hidden".....
Both should be unchecked.

Have you tried saving over an existing savegame?

yes, I tried. Usually after presing save game and exiting to the game there was a information on the screen that the game was save. But now there is no information. Save files are unmarked ( hiden and read only) I did everything what people writed in thys post. Mayby I'm out of luck. If u find some solution pliss let me know. And thanks for answer for all

do you have the latest update of the game installed (1.08.2)?
If not install the update and try again to save a game.

You can try one of my save games (game must be updated to version 1.08.2)
download the 4 files the rename the 4 files by removing the .png extension (had to do it this way because otherwise i could not attache these files to this comment).
The names should be: gamesaves.zip.001, gamesaves.zip.002, gamesaves.zip.003 and gamesaves.zip.004.
Now use the program 7-zip to decompress the 4 files (http://www.7-zip.org).

if all goes well you should get 2 files one "AutoSave_4dcec_7df3c400_4a92263.png" file which is the save snapshot and one "AutoSave_4dcec_7df3c400_4a92263.sav" which is the saved game.

Now copy those two files in your savegame directory where your saved games are and start the game.
See if you can load my saved game and then try saving it again (first walk arround a bit).

Hope this works or else i'm out of ideas for the moment.

I have saved the game :) I had to lunch the game directly from Witcher catalog, not thru the GOG. its working now. But thanks for help :)
