I have a Geforce GTX 670 2GB
(1) Uninstall the your old Geforce Driver with a Display Driver Uninstaller - I use the latest Guru.3d
(2) Restart your computer and you should only have the standard VGA driver.
(3) go to Nvidia driver website and download driver 347.88. Once it say it is ready to install go to custom
install and uncheck Geforce Experience. .Install driver 347.88
(4)Next go to Nvidia Control Panel - right click on your desktop and you should see it. Open Nvidia Control Panel
(5) Go to manage 3D settings -- go to Select a program to customize - find Witcher 3 and add it.
(6) Then go to Specify Setting of this Program - you should see a list - go to Power Management Mode
and change it to Prefer Maximum Performance and click on the add button at the bottom
(7) If you don't have Nvidia Inspector go to the Nvidia Website and download it
Open Nvidia Inspector and click the button that says Show Overclocking> A warning will come up
but go ahead. On the overclocking panel go to Base Clock Offset and hit the -20 button. Then go
right below that to Memory clock Offset and hit the -20 button, After hit the button on the bottom right
that says Apply Clocks & Voltage
(8) Then start Witcher 3. REMEMBER that will you have to reapply Base Clock Offset -20 and Memory Clock
Offset -20 each time you turn your computer off or reboot it before playing Witcher 3 again
I hope this helps some people because I can play Witcher all day without it crashing
