Zanrak Galaxy isnt the biggest offender of this with its grey, but a dark mode would be appreciated. The Color isnt as important, moreso that it isnt (close to) white.
If its dark the white-ish layout can easily create eyestrain.
An even better solution would be to allow custom skins to color the client how we want.
Vasternich The default Dark Theme for GoG Galaxy 2 is much appreciated. That being said, I do not understand why the Store is still blindingly white. I actively avoid the store page because it is so jarring. Please implement a Dark Theme (either a toggle or default) for ALL sections of the Galaxy app.

crysisheld I just want the profile backgrounds available to choose in GOG Galaxy on library and store page...Thats dark enough for me!
alkinson darkmode is def somethign they need to implement.
##@@##@@ If you visit the community, you'll see that they have two themes (more darker and more lighter), I think they can just replicate this two themes for all the website. And I'll appreciate a lighter theme for the left bar on Galaxy too, making it match with the light theme as the actual match with the dark theme from community.

KPogorelov I agree. Custom color and/or image themes would be best, and really in line with the idea of user control. Darker theme would be good also, i.m.o. because image thumbnails such as game covers and user avatars are best viewed on a dark background, as many art students have seen after mounting their projects on black presentation board for year after year after year ;) I think cinemas project films with the lights off for the same reason.

Kantaroumiya I agree, it's always nice to have options to darken an UI for various reasons. It shouldn't be a big effort to offer two or more designs or even let the users decide on a few options to change.
pforson What annoys me is that the STYLE option only changes the look of the shelves and not the background. It doesn't make any sense.
Ioshua I rarely use GOG Galaxy because the interface is so bright it burns my retinas. After a few minutes my eyes begin bleeding and I start smelling the faint odor of cooked brains. Please fix.
Neuronin I wish they'd also make GOG Galaxy look more like a real client application. The GOG application appears more like a browser extension. It doesn't look good. Visit [url:[https://www.gog.com/galaxy]] to see what the application is advertised to look like. It looks much more like a distinct, high quality application.

Imagestealer I agree that the current colour scheme is abysmal!! The medium grey text on the light grey background lacks contrast and creates eyestrain. Especially if you are no longer 18 with perfect vision!
