An_Onion How many years have we been asking for this at this point? I just want my saves to sync between the Windows versions on Galaxy and the Linux versions that are (currently not) on Galaxy!
snkboarder I've been running Galaxy through Bottles just so I can track my hours, achievements and chat with people. But, it's a little rough and games don't always play right. Textures are blurry for all my games, and I'm not quite sure why, but that's a post for another forum.

Thank you for your amazing work and for making GOG a 100% safe place where our data is protected! Given your openness to open source for connecting with other platforms, why not consider a GOG Galaxy client for Linux? It would make perfect sense for a community that values security and privacy!

billymambo I agree, Heroic is good to have, but nothing replaces the GOG client. It just doesn't. Is it really that difficult to get it running with a proton-embedded setup? We made the leap guys, we ditched Windows. Allow Steam linking or let us download your games directly from your client.
AnimeKing18 The Heroic Launcher is great alternative it allows us to play GOG, Epic, and Amazon games on Linux and it has proton built in. But still would love to see a native version of GOG Galaxy. TBH I wouldn't use it because with Heroic I can add a shortcut of my games to Steam and use Steam Inputs for games that doesn't support my PS5 controller. Even on my Windows PC I use Heroic.
FLuffy_Toast I mean, it would be cool if you could make a native client, while integrating proton and modding for games. But it would be very hard, i get why you guys dont do it tho.

rayman67 I refuse to build a windows system just to get to use GOG Galaxy & I know "Minigalaxy " exists & does its job well . but for the Love of all things " GAMING " Linux Users probably spend more time playing older games than "Windows " Users . krossfaded A Native client wouldn't be too difficult to provide to the Linux community of gamers. You'd most likely recoup your investment on the platform with purchases fairly quickly.
Especially with the adoption of Steam Deck players.
It's a no brainer, GoG.
capnpirate Please release a Linux native client for GoG Galaxy and have it integrate with Proton to provide Linux support for Windows games. I prefer to give GoG my money, but Steam Deck is my only gaming platform.
