herbwest Please release the GOG Galaxy client for Linux, because there are many penguins out there who would prefer to buy games on your site, but don't do so, because of the convenience of the Steam client. Sorry for my bad english, but I'm no native speaker ;)

krossfaded A Native client wouldn't be too difficult to provide to the Linux community of gamers. You'd most likely recoup your investment on the platform with purchases fairly quickly.
Especially with the adoption of Steam Deck players.

TexZeTech I'm also going to throw my hat in and say. "Hey it would be nice if I could have a Linux client to use on my Linux machine." As of right now its harder for me to use GOG over steam for this one reason alone.
tottoszsolt As the current state of game market, GOG and Steam are the only one people can trust to secure their library, at least as I see it... It would be really, really good to be able to download GOG Galaxy and play on Linux... I am slowly going to buy games on GOG instead of steam, because I realized I want to truly OWN the games I am paying for... Thank you for the developers if they make it happen... It would be an amazing step towards the Linux Gaming community.

What's missing for me is the multiplayer experience enabled only if using the galaxy client.

Quailin GOG for Linux would be the best.. I left Windwos on almost all systems behind me, but for my GOG games I still have one Windows System left... I hope this will change in the future ;-)
ninuola You guys need to start Linux seriously. I plan to install SteamOS in my next PC build and tired of the stress of trying to install GOG using Lutris. Please release the GOG client for Linux or my Steam library keeps increasing whilst GoG remains stagnant.
n4m3l3ss0n3 You are Good Old Games. Many older machines will no longer support Windows in the very near future. Linux is the way here.

I'm running away to Steam
kanecvr Linux has become much easier to use for the non-it pro. I've installed Linux Mint on a lot of my devices, and plan to ditch the bloated mess that is windows completely by the end of the year. I prefer to buy my games on GOG over all other distribution platforms, but Steam has a leg up on your platform when it comes to linux with their native client. A native gog client for Linux would be a great addition, and it would open up non-x86 platforms like the Raspberry Pi and ARM devices as well.

I can't unlock achievements and have to play on Windows which is not great.
MemoryDreams I've stumbled upon this post, while searching if they released it on Linux at long last. Please release it, Linux is great for playing older games, and Windows is terrible. We are on the rise of linux gaming devices, it's a must at this point.
