Vincent13122 The old galaxy version looked so appealing to the eye, I posted this in another thread, but: If your target audience for a launcher/store is one that mainly plays classic games, its weird to make a launcher look completely modern and clean and have no personality. The old one did and it fit the games you play over it perfectly.
samsom GOG-Galaxys not changeable DarkTheme/dynamicShading-Designi ist an eye-hurting mess. Not to mention todays trends in Websitedesign and UI-Design in general. But as long they make money they will continue with this. Its a time of economists. As long as they recognize a stable or increasing shares-value while they ignore the customers needs they won't stop this stupid nonense.
Catventurer I need a high contrast theme as I am color-blind. The Galaxy dynamic theme works most of the time, except for when I go to manually add certain games (like the 1996 game Fable.) Everything that isn't super bright white and is more of a grey tone becomes unreadable.
DarkZephyr Yeah I can't seem to find a way to brighten GALAXY and its really bad for my eyes.
M3n747 This. Galaxy 2.0 is so dark I can't look at it without my eyes hurting. Even Steam doesn't look this bad.

Drexl_Vaal Skins would be nice, but my biggest UI issue right now is that, even at 1440p, I can't have the window take up half the screen without data overflowing. It doesn't shrink to fit. A collapsible game bar on the left side would help a lot.

iCcyOne Skins for it would be awesome. Dark theme especially and if you decide to change the look of it just keep the old one too. Finding old Steam skins is kinda hard and leaving old GOG themes/skins would be a lot easier.

jssrfx Seconded. I'd like a dark theme, and the software icon/tray icon to go with. Why not choose the icon similar to the website's logo? A dark grey? White seems an odd choice given that the site is mainly grey-ish...
TheDevReign Need dark theme too. Everything on my computer has a dark theme except for galaxy. When I open it, it lights up my room and hurts my eyes :[
