Grand Theft Auto V
store.steampowered.com/app/271590/Grand_Theft_Auto_V/
I understood that buying the Game in the Steam (EGS, Fanatical - Steam, Humble Bundle - Steam, EA, Rockstar) store and enjoying it is better than waiting for it here (gog) for eternity. |||
A lot of games will never be published in the gog store it is a fact! |||
For different reasons many games will never be published in the gog store - fuck_DRM policy (or at least gog trying to pretend to be a DRM-free store), absurd terms of cooperation that gog is pushing, support policy that is completely frustrating and disappointing, and of course non-professional personnel.
Dear GOG, Please consider releasing this game DRM FREE without removing online features.
only if the forced online/login shit was removed, with the rest of the DRM shit...
then they could have the MMO/Online GTA stuff separate like it is anyways.
Would be great. Like previously mentioned, just remove online feature
+1 Vote and +1 Comment to support such a Good Game, remember more Votes and Comments to the game = more chances it will be added to GoG Store!
+1 to this game from me!
+1, hope that this really cool game will be published in GoG store in 2022! P.S. GoG Team make as much as you can to bring it to GoG store (っ◔◡◔)っ
A DRM-free version of this game could be made. I've seen far stranger things happen. As CD Projekt continues to demonstrate the possibility, and necessity, of a DRM-free future, more AAA title producers like Rockstar will come to their senses. There will be a GTAV GOG release, it's just a question of how long we'll have to wait; a question of how long Rockstar will continue to think it's a good idea to leave their fans with no choice but to seek out cracked versions of their games.
We will probably not see older Grand Theft Auto and Max Payne games released on Gog any time soon, therefore it is utterly impossible to see this one released either. :-) While you never know for the older titles like Vice City and San Andreas if they can make it to the Gog market, I am pretty sure this one never will, due to GTA Online and Social Club accounts. Plus Rockstar Games are greedy liberal f*cks, who do not tolerate DRM-free games.
Voted as it is a dream to see this game available just for single player as I would love to go through it in offline
lol i think if gta v will be on gog many people will buy it
We can dream, we can...
Uh, good luck trying to do this DRM-free ...
Haha, this is a wishlist, not a universe altering paradigm!
Even if it's only single player, it would be great as long as there's no DRM.
I'm with Anionic... an DRM-free single-player only GOG release would be fantastic. GTA Online doesn't interest me much.
GTA IV was the worst of the series, I stopped buying them from that point forward, which is lucky as even that one was DRM infected, and the latest one has social online gaming. Utter trash.
If somehow GOG managed to gain the license of Gta V and have Rockstar strip it to an only story mode game that would be great.
People, use some common sense... GTA5 just got released on PC and Rockstar are known for spamming Games with tons of DRM, there is no way GTAV will ever Hit GoG, even less so without DRM.
GTA4 on PC got SecuRom, Rockstar Social Club and GFWL, that´s 3 DRM on a single game... no chance, Rockstar waaaay too greedy and anti consumer.
Rockstar uses Social Club. So it has drm.
cool,im in
anyway to get it removed from steam's drm system?
*dreams of playing GTA V on GoG*
Since I can't edit the above after posting or even see it formatted before it is, I'm going to format this in word before I post next time...
EDIT: This is a game GoG or any DRM-free gamer should *not miss.
Given that Rockstar has their Social Club thing, they'd have to strip that down to just an online-only perk to make this game sellable here.
Then again, they made upwards of a billion dollars on this game, so I can't see any reason not to appeal to the DRM-free fans.
not happening moron
lol, really?
