SilverhandDrow Same as Nekolo, I just saw the sale on Steam and read about the "must have EA account and client" shit and it was an immediate no. Would love to buy and play this series, I played 1 back in the day but never the others, but can continue to never play the rest if we have to deal with EA crap to get it.
Nekolo saw it on sale elsewhere for 10 bucks, but I saw that it also needed an EA origin connection. No thanks. GOG would be great.

Vainamoinen No chance to play my disc versions of ME1 and ME2 any longer on Windows 10. I'd have to install that Ogre ... Orgy ... Orgrigin thing again to even play ME3. EA should give me the DRM free installers for free. But at the very least, they should release here toute de soforte.
LancelotvomSee The Legendary Edition has no Multiplayer any more. This means no need of EA account any more and it would be easier to release on GOG now. For Skyrim it was possible. Maybe another miracle happens and Mass Effect Legendary Edition DRM free here without the need of any additional account just like in good old times.

fobu123 I would've bought it on GOG too if it was a thing right away. I don't mind the DRM so far but I've only opened it once. Maybe it hasn't beeped me yet. If so, maybe I'll download a crack so I don't have to deal with this nonsense. I already paid for the thing, so it's my right to let the pirates fix EA's nonsense for them. And yet EA still thinks the pirates are the problem.
Oh well. Just buy the good stuff and leave the rest folks. You can't blame EA for serving you poop if you keep paying for it, eating it, and then complain about it. We created the monster folks. We are the reason EA is EA. We've been teaching them the wrong lessons, over and over again. We can't expect EA to change if we don't first.

fridgeband I take back my vote (even though there is no unvote button) because I heard some things would be changed, namely a character and some DLC. I'm not sure if this is true, but I hope it isn't. Anyway, I'm not counting on this ending up in a way that respects the original. I just have my serious doubts at this point. Do your research.

Loginus I think that EA is taking a step back from prioritising Origin. I don't think Squadrons needed Origin at all, so I wouldn't be so sure.

EA does not remaster things to improve them, they remaster them to restrict them more, so while we *may* eventually get the trilogy here (and I would buy them instantly if they showed up, along with the missing Dragon Agee games) I don't see this being a GOG release ever.
